Never mind those cockroaches - spray as much anti-spider stuff into all those nooks and crannies as you can! And yes please, do check for funnel webs in the garden......
The chap was marvelous - and I was especially pleased when he said he couldn't find any funnel web holes in the garden! He told us lots of scary spider stories to keep us on our toes and the one about funnel webs being able to survive at the bottom of swimming pools for over a month is worrying....
Shop till we drop - lots of stores to cover, tv, dvd, beds, table, plates, cutlery.... the list goes on. Our container doesn't arrive till end of February, so a 'few' essentials needed.
The main essential for the kids was getting the pool in working order, as it was green when we arrived. After cleaning we got our own guy in to double check it was ok and we were pleased to find it was a mere 30' - so we all piled in - lovely!
